Brigitte Vollenberg, born in Dorsten in 1953, graduated in business economics, is a resident in Gladbeck, spent four decades working in architecture. Learning assistance at the Catholic elementary school. Since 2013, she has been giving courses at the NRW "Culture and School" program to support the creative writing of young people.

Life-long writing and the gathering of impressions are the basis for her author's activity.

From 2009 on publications of short stories. Till this day, more than 70 texts have been published in anthologies and literary journals.
2011 her holiday book "WOLKENLOS chaotisch" with 16 short stories was being released. In the summer of 2013, the holiday romance "WOLKENLOS chaotisch hoch zwei" was published as sequel.
The book "Gladbeck Anecdotes and Stories" with the subtitle "Before and behind the scenes" reached the bookshops in 2015.
The steady further education through participation in seminars of well-known authors and lecturers led them more and more into the literature. Since 2014 guest lecturer at UNI-Duisburg-Essen in the field of literary sciences.
2013 Nomination for the Vestische Literatur-Oule, 2014, 2015, 2016 Awards in the framework of the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen; 2016 Winner of the crime advertisement of the local marketing company Raesfeld
