The invitation to the Agatha-Christie Crime Prize in 2014 by the Fischer publishers aroused the interest of the author. Her shortcrime "Dummlaufen" made it over 600 submissions among the 25 finalists and was published in the e-book "today here, tomorrow murder". Since then, several readings, nominations and publications followed, including "The Best Shortcuts of the Waterkant" (KrimiNordica Award 2015). In June of this year, her short-cut "Die Reise" appeared in the e-book "Die Toten von Falein" (Shortcrime Competition National Park Parc Ela, Switzerland). For the autumn, publications are planned in two other anthologies (foreseeable titles: "Tannenblut & Totenglocken" Historical Schwarzwaldkrimis / "MORDS-Energie" Odenwaldkrimis)
Anke Elsner now lives as a lecturer and author with her husband and her two sons in Münster.
